hey all,
its that time again, ur artist are doing u and ur country proud at the mtvbase advance warning. u do have to go thru the rigorous registration process 1st( yeah, don't kw y they want d make and model of our mobile fones), then u can vote as many times as u want.
1 person m real happy for is soty, she is finally being recognized for her talent, check out here popular song malaria on youtube. others include durella, d king of the zanga himself.
u can watch mtvbase every Sunday at 8:30pm on AIT.
the next is MTV Africa music awards, which will be hosted in Abuja, Nigeria on the 28th of November 2008. some of the 9ja nominees include

Best female : asa, sasha
Best live performer : p-square, d'banj
Best group: p-square(of course u kw who to vote)
Best hiphop : 9ice

your country 9ja has been featuring in a lot of music awards lately, some we have won and others we didn't. at the channel o music awards which took place on the 5th of October,our 9ja winners
Best Male Video: Ikechukwu - Wind Am Well
Best Duo/group Video: P-Square - Do Me
Best Hip-Hop Video: KC Presh - Sengemenge
Best Africa West: M-Trill - Bounce
Best Video of the Year: P-Square - Do Me
This award was sponsored by Amarula. i am so upset sasha didn't win cos i remember voting for her twice
at the MOBO's 9ice won the award for best African act, anotha wahala for me as i voted for P-Square as they had a longer standing carrier i thot. but i can't win them all. sighing.
on a more serious not 9ja female rapper Kel was reportedly in a car accident in Lagos on the 1st of October. thankfully it was not fatal. omo gurl its not time yet o, u still hv so much to do. take am eazy. couldn't find videos yet for any of the award nights will do more searching and let u guys kw. enjoy mwahhhhhhhhh

hello,
Good news from the entertainment industry, i am pleased to announce that the wife( Lola Omotayo) of Peter Okoye of P-Square has given birth to a baby boy sometime last week, on the 2nd of October, but don't quote me on that.
the baby was born in London and both mother 'n' child have not arrived back to the country yet.
The christening, according to Peter, is expected to hold as soon as Lola and the baby return next month.“I can’t disclose the exact time of their arrival at the moment, but if not next month, it will be December. I’m also keeping the name of the child close to my heart for now. I will unveil it when the time comes.“Although people have been suggesting names for me, even my twin brother, Paul, is yet to know the name I have settled for,” he also added, “it’s a thing of joy and I’m happy about it.”
we r also happy for u DADDY. lol.
